I did not start as a runner, but once I discovered long efforts, I was hooked. Running is the through line, supported by strength training, cycling, skiing, and time outside. I’ve chased distance and discovery, finishing fourth female at the Cocodona 250, running 290 miles from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, earning first place female at Rim to River 100, and playing with FKTs. My spirit animal is a mountain lion. Their power, intention, and physical strength within the animal kingdom mirrors the balance of body, mind, and spirit in the human realm.

Shelby Farrell's Broken Arrow ~ The Ascent
🏹 3.61 miles & 2,840 feet of vertical gain. Admittedly, this is not my typical distance, and I did not train specifically for it (VT100 on deck), but we just gotta full send and find out! Opting to go without poles because I don't want to deal with them on the ladder and scrambly bits on top! (Also, don't really want to fly with them...)
