    How Brand Partnerships Work

Brands on Rendezvu partner with hosts to get their products in front of the right audiences. A partnership usually starts as an opportunity: a brand invites you to a campaign that can include gifted products, a flat fee, commission on sales, or a mix of all three. You review the terms, accept if it is a fit, and deliver the work. Every campaign you complete builds your track record on the platform, and that track record is what turns one-off invites into repeat partnerships.

    Make Yourself Easy to Find

Brands browse hosts when deciding who to invite, so discoverability starts with your profile. Fill out your specialty and discipline, write a bio that includes your real credentials, and keep your gear lists active and well organized. Brands also notice hosts who already recommend their products authentically. If you genuinely use and love a brand, add their gear to your lists. That is often the signal that puts you at the top of their invite list.

    Responding to Opportunity Invites

When a brand invites you to a campaign, it appears on your Opportunities page and you are notified by email. Read the full scope before accepting: the deliverables, the timeline, the payment terms, and any gifted products included. Nothing starts until you accept, and only you can accept. Respond quickly either way. A fast, professional decline keeps the door open for future invites, while a slow response usually closes it.

    Ask Questions Before You Accept

Use Messages to talk with the brand directly before you commit. Clarify anything that is vague: exactly what content they expect, where it will be posted, and when each deliverable is due. Brands respect hosts who ask sharp questions up front. It signals that you take the work seriously, and it prevents the misunderstandings that sour a partnership halfway through.

    Deliver Great Work, On Time

Once a campaign is active, your deliverables and due dates are listed on the opportunity page. Submit your work there so the brand is notified and can review it. Hitting deadlines is the single most important thing you can do. Brands compare hosts across campaigns, and reliability is what they remember. If something comes up and you need more time, say so early through Messages rather than going quiet.

Turn One Campaign into a Long-Term Partnership

The best partnerships extend well past the first campaign. After you deliver, share how the content performed and keep recommending the products you genuinely use. Brands re-book hosts who are easy to work with, communicate clearly, and drive real results. A handful of strong, ongoing brand relationships will earn you more than a long list of one-off campaigns.
